A daily skincare routine is essential for maintaining healthy, glowing skin

It typically involves a few simple steps:

1.Cleansing

Start your day by washing your face with a gentle cleanser to remove dirt ,oil, and impurities accumulated

overnight. Use lukewarm water and pat your face dry with a clean towel. Generally, the milk, jelly, and cream cleansers

are better formulated for dry or sensitive skin typesFoaming cleansers that contain an exfoliating acid are usually liked

best by those with combination or oily skin types. For more mature skin, I recommend a gentle cleanser containing

collagen-building peptides.

2.Toning

Facial toner is basically the in-between skincare step. Toners are used  to balance the pH of the skin after using an alkaline soap

product for cleansing. Apply a toner to help balance your skin's pH levels and remove any remaining traces of dirt or cleanser.

Toners can also tighten pores and prepare the skin for better absorption of moisturizers and serums.

Think of facial toners as the extra credit rather than the shortcut of your skin-care routine.

3.Moisturizing

Not all moisturizers are created equal. However, this is a good thing, because not everyone needs the same benefits from a

moisturizer. For those with dry skin, you need something that's going to seal in moisture and prevent irritation. Especially in

winter months, when conditions like subzero temperatures and hot radiators can dry you out even further. Hydrate your skin

with a suitable moisturizer that matches your skin type. Moisturizers help to lock in moisture, keeping your skin soft, smooth,

and supple throughout the day.

4.Sun Protection

Sun protection is an essential step in your daily skincare routine .Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or

higher to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. Sunscreen should be worn daily, even on cloudy days, to prevent

premature aging, sunburn, and skin cancer.

5.Eye Cream

There are five main types of  eye creams designed to treat different eye concerns. Choose which of these issues is most

important to you.  I suggest treating dryness and inflammation first and once that is under control, focusing on  skin aging

and eye puffiness. In some cases you may find one eye cream that treats all your eye concerns, but in most cases you will need

one eye cream in your morning routine and a different one at night.  Just gently apply an eye cream or gel around the

delicate eye area to hydrate, reduce puffiness, and minimize the appearance of fine lines and dark circles.

6.Serums

Face serums often contain active ingredients like hyaluronic acid or glycolic acid and they're very useful for targeting

specific skin concerns, such as acne, dryness, clogged pores, dullness, dark spots and more.

Incorporate serums containing active ingredients such as antioxidants, retinol, or hyaluronic acid to target

specific skin concerns like aging, hyperpigmentation, or acne. Apply serums before moisturizer for optimal absorption.

7.Nighttime Routine

In the evening, repeat the cleansing and toning steps to remove makeup, dirt, and pollutants accumulated

throughout the day. Follow up with a richer moisturizer or night cream to nourish and repair the skin while you sleep.

Remember to choose products formulated for your skin type and concerns, and always patch test new products before incorporating

them into your routine. Consistency is key to seeing improvements in your skin's health and appearance over time.

A daily skincare routine is essential for healthy, radiant skin. Consistency matters, as skincare is about long-term care, not quick fixes.

Start with the basics: cleanse to remove impurities, moisturize to hydrate, and use sunscreen to prevent UV damage. Tailor your routine to

your skin type—oily, dry, combination, or sensitive—to meet its unique needs.

Adding steps like exfoliation, serums, or masks can boost results but should be done moderately to avoid overloading.

A balanced routine, combined with hydration, a healthy lifestyle, and a good diet, helps maintain a glowing complexion.

Caring for your skin is an investment in your well-being.
